Mathew Dober, Lawyer

Mathew is a senior partner at Dober Williams and founded the firm in Kelowna in 2009. Mathew specializes in the areas of corporate and commercial transactions, finance and investment. He acts for a wide range of clients including large banks, commercial lenders small and medium sized business owners. Mathew was born and raised in Kelowna and graduated from Springvalley Secondary before completing university degrees at UBCO, Haskayne School of Business and the University of Calgary faculty of Law. He has a strong entrepreneurial spirit and thrives on helping his clients succeed in business.

Katy is a partner at Dober Williams and practices in the areas of real estate development, business law, and wills & estates. Katy attended the University of Alberta in Edmonton and was called to the bar in 2008. In 2012, she moved to Kelowna to be closer to family, good skiing and good wine. She has since set down roots with a family of 3 young boys to keep her busy. Katy loves having a hand in the growth of a thriving Okanagan community, whether through local real estate development projects or supporting local business owners with their legal needs.

Casey is an associate at Dober Williams, practising in the areas of real estate development and transactions, business law, wills and estates, and corporate and commercial transactions. Born and raised in Kelowna, he graduated from Kelowna Secondary School and received his undergraduate ('04) and law degrees ('08) at the University of British Columbia. He was called to the bar in 2009. After years practising law in Vancouver, Casey returned to Kelowna in 2021 to be closer to family. He provides practical, cost-effective, and timely legal advice focused on strong client outcomes.

Odessa is the general manager at Dober Williams and joined the firm in 2010. Odessa is responsible for the management and oversight of all of the firm’s legal and business matters. She also focuses in the areas of corporate and commercial transactions and financing transactions. Odessa was born and raised in Kelowna and graduated from Kelowna Secondary School. She received her Bachelor of Management at UBCO in 2011. Odessa looks forwards to discussions with clients and exploring opportunities to offer tailored legal solutions to address their specific needs.

Esther is the corporate manager and paralegal at Dober Williams. Esther joined the firm in 2015. She specializes in reorganizing corporations and tax-driven corporate organizations. Raised in Calgary, Alberta, Esther spent many years abroad in Mexico and Austria before returning to Canada in 2012. Esther holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education from the Anahuac University of Mexico City and a Master's Degree in Interdisciplinary Humanities, with a focus on Philosophy, from Trinity Western University.

Victoria Lindsay, Paralegal

Victoria is a paralegal with Dober Williams and has been with the firm since 2021. She was born in Kelowna but grew up in Oregon. During her time in the US, Victoria developed a large interest in the outdoors and loves to hike with her family and dog. Her focus in school was learning Spanish, and she had the opportunity to spend her junior year of high school in Mexico, and a term of her senior year of university in Chile. She graduated from the University of Oregon with honors with a Bachelor of Arts before moving back to Kelowna in 2019. Victoria focuses on business transactions and estate planning and administration.
